rough fission team role
Hmmmm tricky - my role has changed considerably as f-ission has progressed. For f-ission one (when Kerry from St C's initially asked if my youth band could play at their youth band bbq - I suggested a joint bbq and an outside band and hence f-ission was born) I was pretty much responsible for everything (although the team did most of the work) - mainly because I was financing the entire event out of my personal bank account and praying that we would make enough cash so I could get it back - pretty scary when we had the most expensive venue that we have ever had and the two most expensive bands we have ever had all on the same night! This carried on for the first few events but as f-ission has progressed and the team has got larger we have set up better accounting procedures and become a well-oiled machine so my role has now diminished and all I do is turn up for a meeting every now and again and drink tea.

what would your ideal day involve
A lie in! Followed by a fried breakfast (cooked by the missus). After that I don't really mind in fact I'd probably go back to sleep.

However, for the purposes of this interview I will say... get up at 5am, raise someone from the dead. Have a cup of coffee, heal a couple of blind people and then perhaps take a break for a cherry bakewell. Then I would play my guitar for a bit until it was time for me to receive my award for Worlds Greatest Photographer Ever. Then I would then lead 10,000 people in an amazing time of worship before leaving for my world cruise which I would pay for with part of my billion pound lottery win.

I'd like f-ission to grow and be able to reach more and more young people. Once it goes international I will be able to give up my job and work on f-ission full time.

tell us an embarrasing story
I do some work for a Sailing Charity, one year just before I went away with the charity my brother stuck a baby's rattle to my forehead for a laugh. When I pulled off the sucker it left a massive red mark in the middle of my forehead that looked exactly like a love bite. This lasted on my head for the entire week during which time I had to meet parents teach large groups of kids sailing etc. When I was talking to people I could see them looking at it (or trying to pretend they weren't actually looking) and wondering how I had got such a big love bite on my forehead!
